Throughout most of my life, I have found familiarity and comfort in working with acrylic paints. However, my time in Rome opened up a new chapter in my artistic journey as I began exploring the world of oil painting. Initially, I found oil painting intimidating and challenging, but as I progressed, I discovered the unique qualities that make it a beloved medium in the art world.
The smoothness and blendability of oil paints fascinated me, allowing for rich, layered textures and depth that I had not experienced with acrylics. This exploration not only enhanced my technical skills but also broadened my creative possibilities.
